One of the major challenges facing manufacturers of brined cheese is brine purification. The removal of particulate is the critical step in preventing the fouling of membranes, plugging of cooling plates, and the constant maintenance of in-line brine strainers.
The Automated Brine Strainer is designed to remove the particulate from the brine on an on-going basis. Through the use of strainers and automated flow controls the brine system is self-clearing thus greatly reducing labor requirements. All the removed particles are retained for disposal at the operator’s discretion.
This system will work in conjunction with existing brine strainers or independently, depending on system layouts.
